Meet Our Team

Matthew joined Astute in November 2020 as a Delivery Consultant supporting the Waste Management team before becoming a Senior Account Consultant overseeing key clients within the defence sector.  

Matt joins us from South Africa where he studied Hotel Management and worked in the hospitality industry before moving into recruitment within the finance and hospitality sectors. Matt is naturally dedicated, friendly and enthusiastic which helps his professional missions notably for building relationships with his clients and working in a team.

Matt is a big Chelsea fan and never misses a game. He stays active and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, golf, and is looking to travel across Europe visiting Spain and Croatia. He had a strange hobby of catching snakes at School in Natal (South Africa) and was even a Snake Prefect for his school!
