Meet Our Team

Ruth joined Astute in June 2022 as a Recruitment Consultant within our Operations and Maintenance team as part of our Power division. She has now made her way up to Senior Recruitment Consultant. 

In her professional experience, Ruth has worked in a power station for 4 years as an Assistant Shift Team Leader and is currently studying remotely for a HNC in Process Engineering to gain more knowledge of this sector. Previously, Ruth has worked across various sectors, including teaching English in China and a plumber in Ecuador which enabled her to gain diverse skills. Ruth is always interested in learning more which is an attribute we celebrate at Astute. 

In her personal life, Ruth describes herself as adventurous, enjoying traveling and discovering different cultures, visiting places such as South America and Asia as well as camping, festivals, and volunteering for the Scout Go-Kart Team in Lincolnshire. Her goals are to finish her studies and make her dream of climbing Machu Picchu come true.
