Meet Our Team

James joined Astute in September 2022 as a Senior Recruitment Consultant in our Power team. He is an experienced engineering recruiter and brings his extensive knowledge of the industry to the team. James’ most recent role was working in classic car sales and prior to this in yacht sales and private yacht recruitment.

James has also worked as a deckhand on board of private yachts travelling the world in what we can only assume resembles a Below Deck episode.

In his free time, James enjoys playing golf, finding new great places for food and wine, and building his dream Land Rover Defender. A man of many talents, James says his hidden talents include being a singer, a yacht captain, and a trained chef.
