Meet Our Team

Dan joined Astute in May 2015 after graduating from Portsmouth University with a 2:1 in Business Studies.

Having worked as a Private Banking Assistant with Lloyds TSB for six years and in hospitality whilst at University, he pursued a career in recruitment after having friends in the industry. Now a principal consultant, Dan is one of the leading consultants within the business focusing on Power Generation Operations & Maintenance across the UK, and he has been an integral role in several crewing-up projects of new build power stations.

Outside of work Dan enjoys watching sport such as football (Liverpool), F1 and Cricket. He also enjoys playing games like Call of Duty, Civilization and Battlefield when he's not doing DIY around his home.

Dan has two cats; a Bengal Cross (Leo) and a Ragdoll (Lyra) who regularly wake him up at 6am so he has no need for an alarm clock.

For holidays, he enjoys sitting on a beach getting a tan and also enjoys a bit of sightseeing. Dan likes to go on a cruise once a year with his girlfriend to get the best of both worlds. He is looking at going to Orlando soon, and he's hoping to time this with a SpaceX rocket launch from the Space Coast.
