We are currently seeking to recruit a Waste Transfer Station Supervisor, to oversee and manage the daily operations of an active and busy waste management site. Our client is a leading organisation within the Waste Management industry, with the requirement for a WTS Supervisor to join their team in the Maldon, Essex area.

As a Transfer Station Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising daily operations of the Waste Transfer Station
  • Leading a team of and operators ensuring compliance is abided by at all times
  • Ensuring continuous health & safety across the site
  • Developing company procedures
  • Providing training to chemist and operators
  • Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
  • Controlling operational, labour and general site costs
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you must have relevant experience working within a waste management environment, controlling traffic across a busy transfer station/waste yard. You should have experience working in a supervisor position and those with a fork lift truck licence would be advantageous.

The package on offer for this role includes a salary ranging from £26,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience), plus benefits such as pension, etc.
