Job Title - Transfer Station Manager

Location - Central London

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000k

Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with one of the UK's leading resource management, recycling, and energy recovery companies as a Transfer Station Manager on their central London Transfer Station.

About the Role

As Transfer Station Manager you will be responsible for the full day to day operations of the site ensuring full compliance with all environment, statutory and organisational legislation.

Role Responsibilities

As Transfer Station Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited too;
Ensuring site compliance at all times, demonstrating awareness and knowledge of legislation, implementing and managing the site resource when required.
Understand the site permit and operations communicating key aspects of the working plan to individuals and the team when required
Maintaining Health, Safety and Security of the site at all times championing the organizational policy, understanding the risk's and hazards associated with the site
Manage the process of received waste - managing the movement, sorting and storage of waste establishing and implement systems where required
Management of onsite personnel ensuring a constructive training plan is in place and delivered to consistently improve knowledge and develop skills.
Maintain and improve customer service, overseeing the management of the client contract and exceeding delivery
Manage on site financial budgets monitoring and managing all plant cost 's to ensure delivery and exceeding expectations.

The Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate you will have previous site management experience. Waste industry experience would be ideal however other heavy process environments would be considered. IOSH is a requirement, and a COTC and management qualification is desirable. This is a Monday to Friday role however flexibility is required.
