Electronic Test Engineer
up to £33k DOE
I'm looking to speak with an ambitious Electronics Engineer that's keen to develop their career by joining an established, successful, and forward-thinking engineering firm delivering the design, manufacture, assembly, and testing of high integrity electrical and mechanical solutions to a range of demanding high hazard industries.
With proven electronics engineering test experience in a production environment, you will have demonstrable competence across a range of the following competencies, to include close collaboration with the design and production teams on bespoke projects:
- Specification and completion of test procedures for PCB assemblies and related items
- Accurate and detailed written test reporting
- Component level fault finding and diagnostics
- Circuit diagram and schematic comprehension
- Identification, specification and operation of a variety of test tooling and equipment, both automated and manual
With several years already spent in a production testing environment, you will be a positive and flexible individual that is keen to be part of a team effort within a growing business. You will have an appreciation of the end to project life cycle and the cost benefits that efficient and versatile test procedures and fixtures can add.
Close co-operation between all elements of the design, production and test process is key, and the successful candidate will be one that seeks to engage with their colleagues, add value at every opportunity and proactively utilise lessons learned to develop their own and the company's overall best practice.
You will ideally hold:
- HNC minimum in Electronic Engineering
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a quality manufacturing environment
- Proven competence in PCB testing and ESD / component handling
