Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-tech electronic systems, currently require a Technical Support Engineer / Product Support Engineer / Service & Support Engineer to join their team. You'll be providing technical support to customers across Europe, USA and Asia.

Working in a business critical position, you will be offering support via telephone, email and on customer site in the event of system faults, which may involve fault finding, field repairs and product installations. You'll also need to liaise with colleagues and other departments, participating in new product introduction (NPI) and product enhancements.

In order to be considered for this Product Support Engineer role, you'll need good interpersonal skills with a background in customer facing roles, as well as being degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline. Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer position working with electronics systems is also desirable.

You may be required to travel to client sites, sometimes internationally, but this will be infrequent.

They're offering a competitive salary in the region of £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience, as well as benefits including a good pension scheme and healthcare.
