Job Description

Plant Manager - Waste Management
Salary - c£38,000
Location - South London

We are currently seeking a Technical Plant Manager for a large waste plant in South London. Our client is a reputable name in the waste management industry and are looking for a local and experienced Manager oversee the day to day running of the plant in South London.

Your responsibilities as Plant Manager will include:

  • Monitoring the plants output
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures and policies are adhered to
  • Delegating all repairs, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and checks
  • Being readily available to be on call if urgently necessary
  • Training and developing your team
  • Ensuring KPI's are met on a weekly basis
  • Other duties as required

The ideal applicant will have experience in a managerial/supervisor/lead position within the renewable energy sector, waste management/recycling knowledge, a relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent (HNC/HND/ONC etc.), IOSH/NEBOSH certificate would be advantageous, an electrical qualification/17th edition, experience using SCADA systems or equivalent and a hands on Engineering background would also be ideal.
You will need to live close to the site itself and have a full UK driving licence.
Our client is offering a salary of around £38,000 depending on experience and a package such as car/fuel/overtime etc. to be confirmed upon discussion.
