TECHNICAL MANAGER / DESIGN COORDINATOR

Peterborough

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Technical Manager/Design Coordinator to work within the water sector in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will be managing a multi-disciplined team to create detailed design options for several water projects in and across the Peterborough area.

Your duties will include:

  • Defining and managing a design programme and budget
  • Plan all technical aspects of projects to assist in the design strategy
  • Forecast and manage resource costs throughout the project
  • Monitor and report on the technical team's progress on all deliverables. Ensuring excellence in health and safety in design
  • Design risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM requirements
  • Work with the project teams to reduce waste and carbon through design and construction techniques
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members

The ideal candidate:

  • Understand the principles of water and sewage treatment
  • Have a proven background of working within the water sector
  • Relevant Engineering degree
  • Previous experience within a Technical Manager/Design Coordinator role
