Technical Engineer - Renewable Energy

Up to £30k DoE

Norwich, Norfolk

Permanent, Full Time

Our client, a leading company working within the renewable energy sector, currently require a Technical Engineer / Assistant Site Manager / Assistant Maintenance Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the process plant.

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be tasked with providing support to the operations and engineering teams on site, arranging and planning work for preventative and reactive maintenance activities to be carried out covering mechanical, process, instrumentation and control disciplines. Other duties will includes carrying out root cause analysis for faults on the plant, producing maintenance and reliability documentation, as well as providing training to the O&M team.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to be degree qualified or apprenticeship trained in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline. Proven experience working in the process plant / renewable energy / anaerobic digestion sectors will also be advantageous, along with a hands-on engineering background working on pumps / hydraulics / motors / conveyors / pneumatics etc.
