We are currently looking to recruit experienced Systems Engineers to join a world leader in remote handling for hostile environments. This includes Nuclear Fusion, Nuclear Decommissioning and High Energy Physics experiments, both domestically and on a global scale.
This role will suit engineers that are keen to work on cutting edge projects at the forefront of the sector and be involved with delivering challenging but rewarding solutions to real world problems.
Working from their headquarters near Oxford, you will co-operate with the Systems Engineering Team Leader to deliver the company systems engineering methodology in support of all projects, to include clients, contracts, and sub-contractors.
You will support each of the specialised engineering teams for design, manufacture, controls, electronics, mechanics, and software with the aim of creating a structured development process for whole project delivery from concept, through production to operation. Integration of all disciplines and specialties into a focused, efficient, and effective team effort in order to deliver a quality and fit for purpose product that meets the customer's needs will be the measure of success.
The most desirable applicants will hold a recognised engineering degree level qualification (or equivalent), and a suggested 5 years or more of relevant and demonstrable experience in a number of the following disciplines:
- Design Assurance
- Requirements and Interfaces
- Risk Assessments (including CDM)
- Cost Benefit Analysis
- System test program
- Delivery of remote handling solutions
- Complex electro-mechanical systems and an understanding of their associated engineering discipline
- Ability to deliver and make presentations to large corporate clients
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect.
