Supply Chain Assistant - Transport and logistics
Salary - £22,000 + benefits
Location - Nottingham

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to work within the food manufacturing sector. Our client is a market leading presence in a range of sectors associated with the food chain. They manufacture human and animal foodstuffs.

General duties as Supply Chain Assistant/Administrator:

  • Managing vehicle compliance, controlling routes, inbound and outbound trailers and bulkers
  • Completing export documentation, producing daily figures of stock and production
  • Fleet operations
  • Assisting in managing the raw and finished material supply chain
  • Coordinating supplies with customers and internal personnel
  • Other duties as required

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A strong knowledge of logistics/transport regulations
  • Good computer/IT skills including Microsoft packages
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • A knowledge or prior experience in the food manufacturing industry, agriculture, aquaculture or industrial applications

This position is offering a salary of £22,000 and is a full time and permanent role. This will be based on their Nottingham site.
