Structural and Civil CAD Technician - Engineering Consultancy

3 Month Contract

£25 - £30 P/H

We are currently recruiting for a Structural and Civil CAD Technician for an award winning engineering consultancy based in the Midlands. The role will consist of providing engineering support, to project teams, on new build and refurbishment projects within the public and private sector.

Reporting to the Senior Project/Project Engineer you will be reponsible for:

  • Providing CAD assistance for single and multidiciplinary projects involving new build and refurbishments.
  • Providing management assitance around project teams conducting projects for clients within varying sectors (Energy, Healthcare etc).
  • Liase and represent the client, professionally, as and when required
  • Conducting site visits from time to time and supporting other offices when required.

It is essential that candidates have experience in GA detailing surrounding Reinforced Concrete, Piling Layouts, Foundation Design and Structural Steelwork. Combined with this should be some experience in roads detailing and drainage (below ground).

Software experience must include the an understanding of Revit, as well as AutoCAD and the general Microsoft suite.
