Stores Manager - Engineering

Up to £34,000 plus benefits


We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Stores Manager / Stores Supervisor, to monitor and manage inventory levels for high-value engineering equipment. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy industry, with the opportunity for a Stores Manager to join their team based at their depot in Swaffham.

As Stores Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with design, implementation and maintenance of stores layout
  • Managing & monitoring inventory levels
  • Ensuring minimum stock levels are maintained
  • Ensuring availability of parts for planned outages/maintenance works
  • Administration of the stock database (Pirana)
  • Managing warranty claims process
  • Stores security, health & safety - acting as Fire Marshall
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you must have a good understanding of the mechanical / electrical engineering industry, plus previous experience of stock management systems is essential. You must have a keen attention to detail and have GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.

The package on offer for this role includes an attractive basic salary up to £34,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits including pension, holidays. A full UK driving licence is essential and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
