Job Title - Store Keeper/ Stock Controller
Location - North London
Salary - £26,000
Our client a leading nationwide integrated waste management business providing collection, treatment, recycling and technologically-driven energy generation services is looking for a Store Keeper to join one of its key venues in North London.
As Store Keeper you will be responsible for the organisation and maintenance of the site stores. You will be responsible for carrying out regular stock checks ensuring stock is available when needed, sourcing replacements when required and organising refurbishments of refurbished able parts. You will be responsible for administering the CMMS system and running reports as necessary.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Engineering Manager in the development of the stores and inventory
- Manage deliveries of inventory and collection of parts for refurbishment, including non-management conformance products
- Maintain the workplace, tools and engineering facilities to prevent hazard and risks
- Use the internal CMMS systems as per company procedure ensuring the best quality products
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure the best quality products are purchased at the best prices.
The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience with stores management, stock control and inventory. Experience within an engineering operational environment is beneficial and a Level 2 qualified mechanical/plant qualification is desirable. As a candidate you will be tenacious, proactive and have strong attention to detail.
