Steam Boiler Technician - Industrial
Salary - £29,000 - £32,000 Van, tools + Benefits
Location - South Wales, Home based

Astute Technical are urgently looking to speak with experienced industrial Steam Boiler Engineers/Technicians to work for an industry leader in providing combined heat & power (CHP) solutions throughout the UK. This is a field based role thus you will be required to travel throughout South Wales.

You will be responsible for;

  • Repairing and maintaining industrial steam boilers and ancillary equipment in various environments
  • Responding to alerts, monitoring performance, troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Breakdown response and call out.
  • General operations and maintenance
  • Adhere to all environmental and health and safety policies

We are looking for an experienced engineer/technician who has previously worked on large and industrial steam boilers, you will hold a relevant engineering qualification (e.g. HND/HNC/C&G/Apprenticeship or equivalent, Ex-Military etc.), be IT literate and hold a full driving licence. You should also be flexible to be part of an on-call rota.
The position is offering a starting salary of £29,000 with a view to rise to £32,000 after probation plus great company benefits including all tools provided, company vehicle, pension, holiday etc. this is a home based role and you will be travelling to approximately 15-20 sites throughout South Wales.
