Operations Manager - Anaerobic Digestion

£45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits


We are currently seeking to recruit an Anaerobic Digestion Operations Manager / Site Manager / Plant Manager, to oversee & manage a small team of Operators at a 24/7 process plant. Our client is a leading organisation within the sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager / Plant Manager to manage their site based near Leeds.

As the Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing & managing a team of Operators on site
  • Planning & managing the process to ensure maximum efficiency/output
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Conducting & planning routine maintenance
  • Managing contractors on site
  • Drafting method statements & risk assessments
  • Maintaining important documentation
  • Hands-on involvement in the plant build to develop an understanding of how it works
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you should have relevant experience in a Management position working within the Anaerobic Digestion sector. Ideally you will hold a relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or similar).

The package on offer for this position includes an attractive basic salary in the range of £45,000 - £50,000, plus company benefits. This is a permanent position based near Leeds in the South Yorkshire area.
