Contract - 12+ Mths

£450 - £550 Per Day

European Project

We are recruiting for a Site Manager for a Energy from Waste contractor currently undertaking a project in mainland Europe. The role will consist of managing the mechanical installation of boiler and fuel handling plant.

Reporting to the Project Director the Site Manager will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a point of contact for Subcontractor's management whilst helping with their procurement and selection processes.
  • Establishing and monitoring key milestones, required of the project, to allow for successful progression and completion of the project.
  • Coordinating closely with the EPC project team whilst managing subcontractors around the mechanical package installation required of this project.
  • Concluding the project to the client's satisfaction i.e involvement in snagging, commissioning and validation.

It is essential that candidates can demonstrate solid working experience managing large scale power plant projects. Importantly, they should demonstrate a good understanding of commercial matters around these to uphold the clients requirements as well as managing subcontractors on site. Other highly desirable points would be holding a degree in an engineering discipline alongside a health and safety qualification (e.g NEBOSH, IOSH etc).
