Shift Team Leader - Biomass Facility
Salary up to £40,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting a Shift Team Leader to join the Operations & Maintenance department of a 3.4MW Biomass plant, located just outside Bedford.

Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the plant
  • Assisting with any first line or reactive maintenance
  • Assisting with plant inspections, fault finding and adjustments of plant and equipment
  • Developing your team and overseeing their personal development
  • Control of inventory and consumables, ensuring sufficient stock is in for the plant to operate efficiently
  • Forming part of call out rota for our of hours support

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
To be considered for the Shift Team Leader position you must have:

  • Relevant working experience from a process/engineering environment
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualifications such as a City and Guilds or NVQ
  • Knowledge and experience to carry out maintenance as and when required
  • Steam Raising experience would be beneficial
  • Worked in a supervisory position
