Shift Operations Technician Level 1 (Power Generation)
Worthing, West Sussex
£23,000 including shift plus production bonus up to £2400

We are currently seeking to recruit a Shift Operations Technician to join a power station based in Worthing, West Sussex.

Reporting into a Shift Team Leader you will work as part of a shift based team responsible for the 24 hour operation of a state-of-the-art Power Station Process plant. A Shift Operations Technician will be expected to: Operate & monitor plant such as steam turbines, generators, valves, pumps & compressors both locally on the station & from a control room utilising a SCADA. Work with a team of Operators & Maintenance Technicians to ensure the plant hits performance targets. Maintain health, safety & environmental compliance on site.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification & have exposure to engineering systems / process plant knowledge & be able to work shifts. You could also potentially be an Engineer from an environment requiring similar skills such as the Royal Navy or Marine Engineering.

You will earn £23,000 including shift allowance & are eligible to earn a monthly bonus based on plant output targets.
