Shift Operations Technician

Up to £32,000 plus benefits


We are currently seeking to recruit an Operations Technician / Shift Operator, to carry out operational activities on an Energy from Waste Power Station. Our client is a leading organisation within the power generation sector, with the requirement for a Shift Operator to join their team.

As an Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily operations of the plant, working as part of a shift rota (days & nights)
  • Monitoring & operating the plant from a control room
  • Continuous improvement on systems & processes
  • Maintaining records
  • Fault finding via a SCADA system / DCS systems
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant Process Operations qualification (HNC or equivalent). You should have a good understanding of the Power Generation/Renewable Energy sector, with experience working within a heavy process environment (energy from waste, renewable energy, etc.).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading organisation within the Power Generation/Waste Management industry at a new-build energy from waste facility.

The package on offer includes an attractive salary up to £32,000, plus great benefits including pension, holidays, etc.
