Service Engineer - Renewable Energy

c£30,000 plus overtime & bonus

Oxford, Oxfordshire

We are currently seeking to recruit an Electrical Service Engineer / Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Technician, to conduct service & maintenance activities on several 24/7 process plants providing renewable power to their local surrounding areas. Our client is a leading proponent of renewable electrical power generation, designing & building turnkey Anaerobic Digestion Biogas plants throughout the UK.

As the Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Service & maintenance activities on the biogas plants & ancillary plants
  • Ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out within defined budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with all health & safety & legal requirements
  • Supervising maintenance 3rd party personnel
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you should have relevant experience working on process plant or large engines / plant / utilities, perhaps from being a Marine Engineer or ex-Army / Royal Navy background. IT literacy is important & a relevant electrical engineering qualification, preferably at apprenticeship or HNC level would be required.

This is a field based position; therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential & you must be able to respond to out of hours' emergencies.

Based on a 40hr week, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary c£30,000, plus company benefits including overtime & bonus.
