Service Engineer - Biomass

Up to £40,000 plus vehicle etc

Swindon / M4 corridor

Our client, an innovative provider of scheduled maintenance services in the growing renewable energy / biomass boiler power generation sector, require a service technician / field service engineer to liaise with clients & work within a team of Service Technicians throughout the UK.

Your varied duties will include conducting maintenance jobs in biomass boilers up to 1MW mostly throughout the south to Midlands, carrying out reactive & preventative maintenance of boiler & process plant, safely handling equipment & liaising in a professional manner with clients on site.

You will need a mechanical engineering background, with first rate appreciation of & qualifications in Mechanical Engineering & Biomass Boilers combined with experience of small service / maintenance teams. Any replacement & commissioning experience would be advantageous.

Full, clean driving licence required as travel to Biomass Power Plants will be part of the role.

This is an interesting opportunity to enter the Biomass Power Generation sector, & training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Salary £35,000 to £40,000 plus vehicle & 1 in 6 call out overtime, 25 days etc
