Service Engineer (x2) - Heating

£24,000 plus pension

Greenwich London

We are currently recruiting for 2 urgent Service Engineers to work in the Greenwich area servicing Heat Interface Unit's (HIU). The role is offering excellent career development in for form of training and qualifications to maintain much larger site facilities such as industrial boilers and pumps etc.

The role covers a housing complex that features a Combined Heat and Power System with district heating functionality. The Heating Interface Units replace conventional boiler systems to provide heat to the customers own heating and hot water systems. The Service Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Servicing and maintaining the HIU's, conducting tasks such as replacing parts (filters), resetting systems and cleaning etc.
  • Providing a high level of customer service and representing the company well at all time.

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of heating systems and mechanical fitting/ maintenance. They must also be able to deal professionally with customers. There are no specific qualifications required for this role, the right person will receive all the training necessary to conduct the role. The company will further train and develop you to, one day, be able to maintain the companies more complicated CHP system.
This role is paying £24,000 plus a pension. The hours are 8 - 4, but candidates will be required to be flexible around jobs. The company is looking to hire as soon as possible.
