Quantity Surveyor

Contract - 12 months +

Rate Negotiable

We are currently recruiting for an MEP Quantity Surveyor for an Energy from Waste Project in Shepperton. To be considered for this position the applicant must have experience in a similar position with a good knowledge and experience of Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering. This role will be site based where you will be required to carry out all operation from a site cabin.

Reporting to the Commercial Director the MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for;

  • Manage/monitor/report on all commercial aspects of projects
  • Attend handover meeting to receive project from estimating dept.
  • Manage and produce/take off Bill of Quantity's
  • Providing advice on contractual claims
  • Various other Commercial activities

The Ideal Candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent and experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering. To hold Charted Status would be highly desirable. An individual with a good Commercial Awareness and experience of working in the Energy from Waste, Biomass, CCGT or other Power Construction Projects would be an advantage.
