Senior Cable Engineer (Wind Farms)

£45,000 plus benefits & pension

Swindon

Our client, an innovative provider of renewable energy in the growing offshore Wind Farm power generation sector require a Senior Cable Engineer to join the offshore engineering team to provide technical support to a portfolio of offshore projects from early development to operations.

Your varied duties will include:

  • Developing HV cabling system requirements
  • Technical Specification & EPC document preparation
  • Technical support to EC&I team
  • Technical cable calculations
  • Owners engineer for project engineering & construction
  • Willingness to travel within UK & northern Europe

You will need a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline background, with first rate appreciation of & qualifications in Health & Safety particularly CDM regs 2015, combined with a proven background in power cable Engineering.

Full, clean driving licence required as travel will be part of the role.

This is an interesting opportunity to enter the Renewable Energy / Wind Farm sector for the successful applicant.

Salary to £45,000 plus benefits & pension
