Safety Advisor - Power Generation

Up to £40,000 plus benefits

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Operational Safety Advisor / Health & Safety Advisor, to be responsible for and manage health & safety across a Power Generation / Renewable Energy site based in Milton Keynes. Our client is a leading organisation within the waste to energy industry, with the opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor (OSA) to join their team.

As the Site Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing health and safety on site
  • Creating, reviewing and improving risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Arranging training as needed to ensure competency of staff on site
  • Providing health & safety advice across the site
  • Health & safety inspections
  • Undertaking audits
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you should must hold a minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, plus IOSH membership. You should have a working knowledge of the waste/power industries and safety management systems, policies and strategies.

The package on offer for this role includes an attractive basic salary in the range of £25,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) plus company benefits. You must be eligible to work in the UK and ideally hold a full UK driving licence.
