Job Title - Quality and Compliance Manager

Location - Rochester

Salary - £45,000 plus car DOE

Our Client is one of the UK's leading provider of Environmental solutions, offering a full range of Waste and Energy Recovery services through a vast and growing network of Plants and Facilities across the country. They pride themselves in transforming what we as a nation tend to discard into a valuable resource, always maintaining the focus on reducing the carbon footprint and limiting the impact on the environment itself. As such they are looking for a Quality and Compliance Manager to be based in the South East with nationwide travel.

The Role

As Quality and Compliance Manager you will report to the Head of Quality, Assurance and Risk and be responsible for assisting in the management of the quality, risk and compliance function across the Resource and Waste Management division.

Role Responsibilities

As Quality and Compliance Manager you will take responsibility for the management of quality on all installations, carrying out compliance duties and providing advice and guidance where necessary. You will manage the successful implementation of organisational audit planning functions as required by company and statutory requirements.
As Quality and Compliance Manager you will contribute to the continuous improvement and development of quality strategies and relevant measures of success related to quality, risk and compliance. You will work with the relevant stake holders to ensure plant and site compliance providing assistance in writing/reviewing quality management plans for sites where required.

The Ideal Candidate

As the Ideal candidate you must have a full understanding with modern approaches to quality, risk and compliance. You must be familiar with environmental regulatory, legislation and techniques.
As the ideal candidate you must have substantial experience within a similar role, have previous waste/environmental/process industry knowledge. You must be degree qualified within a relevant industry and have business and commercial acumen.
