We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager, to manage and oversee new development Process Plant projects, based in Sheffield / Wiltshire. Our client is a leading organisation in project development and operation of renewable energy process plants, with the opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing & managing new development projects
- Preparation of budgets and time schedules
- Liaising with the Construction Manager for all aspects of construction related activities
- Resolving technical queries during project execution
- Monthly reports on project progress
- Overseeing third party members and contractors
- Ensuring compliance and ensuring risk assessments are completed, reported and managed
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager working within the Process Plant / Food Manufacturing / Chemical or Petrochemical industries. You should hold a relevant Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical or Civil), and have proven experience in Process Plant / Renewable Energy Project Management from conception through to completion.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing business within the Renewable Energy / Power Generation sector. This position is based from offices in Gloucestershire, but there will be regular travel to Sheffield / Wiltshire.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract initially, with a reflective salary c£60,000 or c£350 per day. Plus potential bonus on completing projects within designated timescales.
