Project Manager - Process Plants M&E
Woking, Surrey
£45,000 to £60,000
Our client, one of the UK's leading proponents of renewable electrical power generation in their sector, who have developed & are currently building & commissioning several new advanced power production systems require an experienced Strategic level Project Manager (engineer) with a Mechanical & electrical (M&E) or Chemical background to take the role of Projects Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Projects you will take responsibility for activities relating to design, engineering & procurement while liaising with the Construction Manager for process plants & their ancillary facilities (e.g. silage clamps, power generation & electrical network). Additionally, you will need to take responsibility for carrying out projects within cost, while supervising the technical & quality performance of project engineer(s) & construction contractors.
You should have a strong project management background of process plants from the food, brewing, biochemical, chemical, petrochemical or related industry such as waste management or power generation. You should also be qualified to degree level or equivalent in mechanical or chemical engineering.
Based out of offices in Surrey, you must hold a current driving licence as travel to site/s required. Salary on offer likely to be in range £45,000 to £60,000 depending on skills and experience.
