Project Engineer Electrical
Ipswich, Suffolk
We are currently seeking to recruit a project engineer with experience in manufacturing, to undertake a role seeing process plant projects through the whole project life cycle.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will take ideas from both technical & non-technical teams on site & translate ideas & concepts through to real life engineering projects on both existing & new manufacturing, water & process plant to improve manufacturing output, reliability & safety. Additionally, you will need to take responsibility for carrying out projects within cost, while supervising the technical & quality performance of engineers & contractors.
You should have a background in the food, brewing, biochemical, chemical, petrochemical or related industry such as process engineering, waste management or power generation. Experience with project engineering / project management preferred & you should also be qualified to degree level or equivalent in electrical engineering or a similar technical qualification.
This role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich etc & you must hold a current driving licence as travel to site required. Salary on offer likely to be c£45,000 depending on skills & experience.
