Project Engineer - Civil Engineering
£40,000 plus car
Our client, one of the UK's leading HV electrical systems installers require an experienced Project Engineer with a Civil or related Engineering background to supervise a range of installation activities on projects throughout the South of England.
Reporting to the Head of department you will take responsibility for monitoring civil engineering activities relating to installation of HV cables, liaising between head office, customer, sub-contractors & site based employees. Additionally, you will need to take responsibility for ensuring all targets & key milestones are met & ensure works are carried out to correct procedures.
You should have a strong project engineering or project management background within the construction / civil engineering sector or relevant electricity industry experience. You should also preferably be qualified to HND / degree level or equivalent in mechanical, chemical or civil engineering.
You must hold a current driving licence as extensive travel to sites required. Main office near Southampton, Hampshire with extensive travel to project / construction sites across the south of England.
Salary on offer likely to be in range up to £40,000 depending on skills & experience plus car.
