We are currently seeking to recruit a Production Technician, to work as part of a small, friendly Assembler / Manufacturing team in the Green Energy / Energy Storage sector. Your role with involve the build, assembly & testing of electromechanical equipment.
Our client is a fast expanding organisation within the renewable energy field, seeking a technical person to develop within the team.
As part of the Production Technician team, you will be responsible for the whole manufacturing process from receiving component shipments, assembly of product, test of products & assisting with any defect rectification prior to shipment. You will also get involved in lean initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience in assembling electromechanical equipment or working within a production environment. You should hold a relevant qualification (prefer electrical or mechanical) & have good PC / computer literacy. A background in the armed forces, navy, REME, RAF technician where you are working on electro mechanical equipment would also be very suitable.

The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the region of £24,000-£26,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits. Working hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, however a degree of flexibility may be needed occasionally depending on workload & orders.
