Product Manager - Instrumentation (Nuclear)


£60,000 + Package


We are currently looking to recruit a Product Manager to join a SME Instrumentation business based in Farnham. They are a supplier of switches and instruments to the nuclear sector, supporting the current fleet of power stations.
The Product Manager will be responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements and working with the engineering team to deliver winning products.

What will I be doing?

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing products through the entirety of their lifecycle. This includes working with customers to gather their requirements, delivering these to the engineering team and working with them to develop the product.

This also includes managing the company price list, representing customers in the change control process, managing conflicts between technical and commercial and taking a lead in managing product risk assessments and product recalls.

Duties will include...

  • Developing business cases for new products.
  • Delivering product design specification for final sign off.
  • Defining the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Working with external third parties to assess partnerships and branding opportunities.
  • Performing product demos and product presentations.
  • Setting pricing to meet sales and profitability goals.

What will I need.

Candidates will need demonstrable experience as a Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager, alongside solid experience of defining and launching excellent products.
Candidates will be degree qualified (or equivalent) with a technical background and some experience with instrumentation.
