Principal Safety Engineer - Plymouth
Salary negotiable dependent on candidate
I'm looking to speak with a senior safety / risk assessment and justification professional with extensive high hazard safety case experience in the civil or defence nuclear sector. My client is a growing consultancy that is keen to add additional principal level capability to an existing highly skilled and versatile team.
A subject matter expert in the assessment of nuclear hazards throughout the lifecycle of projects from concept to decommissioning, you will have demonstrable experience of the planning and production of safety assessments and justifications to exacting quality and delivery standards, with strong capability in many of the following disciplines:
- Safety case production - Deterministic / Probabilistic
- Risk assessment methodology
- Criticality Assessment
- Radiological shielding assessment
- INSA and Peer review
- PSA / PRS
- Fault Tree Analysis
The ability to obtain UK SC level clearance is mandatory, and current cleared status would be a distinct advantage.
