Plant Technician - Renewable Energy
Permanent, Full Time
Our client, a leading company working in the renewable energy sector, currently require a Plant Technician / Mechanical Technician / Maintenance Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the plant and machinery, as well as operating the mobile plant on site, such as a loading shovel.
As a Plant Technician, you'll be tasked with controlling and monitoring operations using the plant control systems, so experience of PLC / SCADA / DCS would be advantageous. Other duties will include carrying out inspections on the plant, as well as planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on the process plant such as pumps, gearboxes etc.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in a similar Plant Technician / Mechanical Maintenance position, ideally in a power generation / renewable energy / process plant environment. A relevant mechanical engineering qualification (apprenticeship / NVQ / City & Guilds etc.) would also be advantageous, as would mobile plant operations experience & tickets.
They're offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience. You will need to be flexible and able to work as part of a 24/7 shift pattern (days & nights), with the occasional overtime requirement.
If you would like to apply for this Plant Technician role, then please send a copy of your CV to email@example.com, or call Kyle Shinn on 02392 288 284 for more information.
