Plant Operator - Renewable Energy

c£25,000 DoE + Benefits

Permanent, Full Time


Our client, a leading company working in the renewable energy sector, currently require a Plant Operator / Operations Technician to join their team, working on a renewable energy plant based in the Towcester area. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the plant and machinery, such as pumps, motors, valves, hydraulics, gearboxes and conveyor systems.

As a Process Plant Operator, you'll be tasked with controlling and monitoring operations using the plant control systems, so experience of PLC / SCADA / DCS would be advantageous. Other duties will include first line maintenance, conducting general plant inspections and fault-finding tasks, providing data on outage times, breakdowns and PPM.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in a similar operations position, ideally in a power generation / renewable energy / process plant environment. Mechanical and / or electrical skills will also be advantageous; as occasional general maintenance tasks may be required.

They're offering a competitive salary of up to £25,000 depending on experience and you will be working as part of a shift pattern (4 on, 4 off days), with an on call and occasional overtime requirement.
