Plant Operator - Renewable Energy

£25,000 - £30,000

Towcester, Northampton

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Plant Operator / Operations Technician, to carry out safe & efficient operation on a 24/7 Renewable Energy process plant based in the Towcester, Northampton area. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy industry, with the opportunity for a Plant Operator to join their team.

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Safe & efficient operation of the Renewable energy plant
  • Monitoring & adjusting of the plant via a SCADA control system
  • Shift based, 4 on 4 off working
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you should have experience working in a Process Operations / Plant Operator position, preferably within a heavy process / pharmaceuticals / water treatment / chemical / power generation sector. Ideally you will have a relevant operations qualification (HNC, NVQ, Apprenticeship, etc.) and be happy to work on a shift basis. You must be eligible to work in the UK.

The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary in the range of £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience), plus company benefits.
