Plant Operator - 24/7 Process Plant

£25,000 - £30,000 plus benefits

South Milford, North Yorkshire

We are currently seeking to recruit a Plant Operator / Operative / Operations Technician, to carry out a number of operations & maintenance activities on a 24/7 Process Plant. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for an Operator to join their team based in the Yorkshire area.

As part of a small team, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring & operating the plant to optimise efficiency
  • Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
  • Feeding fuel (renewable)
  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks as instructed
  • Other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in working as a Plant Operator of large/heavy plant and ideally within a heavy process environment. You should have relevant qualifications (operations or maintenance focused) and those with operations experience on SCADA control systems are desirable. You are required to work on a 4 on / 4 off shift basis therefore a degree of flexibility is needed.

The package on offer includes a starting salary in the range of £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) plus company benefits.
