Plant Operator - Renewable Energy
c£25,000 to £30,000 DoE + Benefits
Permanent, Full Time
Our client, a leading company working in the renewable energy sector, currently require a Plant Operator / Agricultural Technician to join their team, working on renewable energy plant based in the Stracathro area of Aberdeenshire. You will be responsible for operating & maintaining the plant & machinery, such as pumps, motors, valves, hydraulics, gearboxes & conveyor systems.
As a Process Plant Operator, you'll be tasked with controlling & monitoring operations using the plant control systems, so experience of PLC / SCADA / DCS would be advantageous. Other duties will include first line maintenance, conducting general plant inspections & fault-finding tasks, providing data on outage times, breakdowns & PPM.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in a similar operations position, ideally in an agricultural / power generation / renewable energy / process plant environment. Mechanical & / or electrical skills will also be advantageous; as occasional general maintenance tasks may be required.
They're offering a competitive salary of up to £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience & you will be working as part of a shift pattern (4 on, 4 off days), with an on call & occasional overtime requirement.
