Plant Manager - Renewable Energy
Up to £40,000
Beccles, Suffolk

We are currently seeking to recruit a Renewable Energy Site Manager / Plant Manager / General Manager, to oversee & manage a small team of Operators at a 24/7 process plant. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for a General Manager to join their team based near Beccles.

As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing & managing a team of Operators on site
  • Planning & managing the process to ensure maximum efficiency/output
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Conducting & planning routine maintenance
  • Managing contractors on site
  • Drafting method statements & risk assessments
  • Maintaining important documentation
  • Optimising gas production
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you should have relevant experience in an Engineering Management position. Ideally you will have experience working within the renewable energy / process engineering sectors and hold a relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or similar). You should have experience working on a 24/7 process plant (chemical, power generation, or similar).

The package on offer for this position includes an attractive basic salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) plus company benefits.
