Job Title - Plant Manager
Salary - £45,000
Location - North/ North West London
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global leader within the Metal Recycling industry. Employing over 4500 staff across 170 locations, our client is looking for proactive Plant Manager/Maintenance Manager to be based at their North London site.
As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the recycling process at the clients Fridge recycling plant in North West London. You will be responsible for the efficient and optimum use of the plant, implementing and developing PPM and maintenance strategies.
The responsibilities of the role, will include but not be limited too;
- Development and Implementation Maintenance strategies to ensure plant availability
- Manage reactive and PPM on all plant equipment including heavy industrial, conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Consistent Team Management and Leadership ensuring the team are motivated and delivering to organisation KPI's
- Develop and introduce cost saving initiatives and standardising best practices
- Drive and champion the H&S culture within the site delivering on organisational values
The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience within Metal Recycling, Waste, Aggregates, Manufacturing or Process Engineering. You will have practical experience of maintaining and developing fixed plant and have the ability to read flow charts and drawings. You will have risk assessment experience, working knowledge of PPM and experience of Asset Management Systems.
This role will suit a candidate who is looking for the next step into Plant Management from a Maintenance Supervisory/Engineering role.
This is a Monday - Friday role with occasional Saturdays and flexibility.
