We are currently seeking to recruit a Plant Manager / Operations Manager / Site Manager, to oversee the daily operation & maintenance of a renewable energy and waste management process plant. Our client is a leading integrated waste management business, with an opportunity for an experienced Plant Manager to join & lead their team.
As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overall operation & maintenance of the facility
- Managing a small team to carry out maintenance activities - PPMs / Reactive Maintenance
- Ensuring Compliance and Health & Safety standards are met at all times
- Managing budgets
- Optimising processes to ensure continuous improvements are made
- Problem solving and identifying areas for improvement
- Preparing and managing a PPM regime
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have relevant experience within a heavy-process environment (Marine Engineering, Chemical Process Plant, Biological Process, Water Treatment or similar). You must have a relevant Engineering qualification (HND / HNC / Apprenticeship / Degree), with experience of overseeing daily operations & maintenance of a Plant. You must have a full UK driving licence and be eligible to work in the UK.
The package on offer includes an attractive base salary dependant on experience, plus company benefits. Based on the Isle of Sheppey, this role is commutable from Sittingbourne, Gravesend, Maidstone, Faversham, etc.
