PCB and Potting Reworker
£20,000-£22,000 + Pension, Holiday, Flexible Working Hours
Hook, Hampshire
Astute Technical are currently recruiting for PCB and Potting Reworkers to join a world class manufacturer specialising in the provision of contract electronics design and manufacturing for world leading customers.
This is a great opportunity for skilled PCB and Potting Reworkers to be a part of a successful manufacturing team and be responsible for the reworking of quality printed circuit boards to quality and industry standards.
As a PCB and Potting Reworker, your duties will include:

  • Performing rework to IAW JST001 and IPC 610, 7717721
  • Removal of substances from PCB's prior to rework
  • Ensuring all rework is inspected in accordance with the company's procedures
  • Working on specific customer returns
  • Use of appropriate tooling
  • Completing necessary paperwork to obtain as well as return parts to stores

To be considered for the PCB and Potting Reworker role, candidates should have:

  • Certified to IPCA-610 class 3, JSD-001 class 3 and IPC771-7721
  • Proven industry knowledge with the relevant certifications
  • Experience working within a PCB and potting environment is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail, as well as hand eye coordination
