Operations Technician - Renewable Energy
Up to £32,000 + Benefits
Our client, a leading company working in the renewable energy sector, currently require a Plant Operator / Operations Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance & operations activities on a process plant based in the Doncaster area.
As an Operations Technician, your duties will include:
- Controlling & monitoring process plant operations using control systems, so experience of SCADA or DCS would be advantageous.
- Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on the mechanical & electrical systems such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics etc.
- Ensuring adherence with health & safety requirements at all time.
- Working as part of a 1 in 3 call out rota to respond to any out of hours breakdowns.
- Other duties as required.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in a similar Operations Technician / Plant Operator position, ideally in a power generation / renewable energy / process plant environment. You will also need to hold an engineering qualification (apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / City & Guilds etc.) along with having good electrical fault finding & maintenance skills.
This is a days based position, which will require weekend working & call outs.
They're offering a competitive salary of up to £32,000 depending on experience, plus the company benefits package.
