Operations Technician - Advanced Treatment Plant

c£45,000 plus benefits


We are currently seeking to recruit an Operations Technician / Power Plant Operator, to carry out operational activities on an Energy from Waste / Advanced Treatment Power Station. Our client is a leading organisation within the power generation sector, with the requirement for a Shift Operations Technician to join their team.

As an Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day operations of the plant
  • Monitoring & operating the plant from a control room
  • Continuous improvement on systems & processes
  • Maintaining records
  • Fault finding via a SCADA system
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant Process Operations qualification (HNC or equivalent). You should have a good understanding of the Power Generation/Renewable Energy sector, with experience working within a heavy process environment (energy from waste, renewable energy, etc.).
