Operations Manager - Waste Management

Up to £38,000 + bonus, car, benefits

Maidenhead, Berkshire

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager / Waste Transfer Station Manager, to oversee the daily running of 2 waste sites within the Maidenhead, Berkshire area. Our client is a leading organisation within the Waste Management sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day running of the 2 sites, ensuring & maintaining effective operations
  • Overseeing & managing the teams (incl. foreman, operatives, drivers)
  • Supervising Operators & Weighbridge Clerks.
  • Monthly attendance reports & payroll timesheet management
  • Maintaining all relevant records accurately
  • Health & safety
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have previous experience within a management experience within a Waste Management environment. You should have a working knowledge of process plant and equipment and be COTC Level 4 & IOSH certified.

The package on offer for this position includes an attractive basic salary up to £38,000 (depending on experience), plus great company benefits including bonus (17.5%), company car (or allowance), pension, holidays. This position covers 2 waste sites within the Berkshire area.
