Operations Manager - Anaerobic Digestion

Up to £50,000 plus benefits

We are currently seeking to recruit an Anaerobic Digestion Operations Manager / Area Manager / Plant Ops Manager, to oversee & manage a few 24/7 process plants across the Cumbria area. Our client is a leading organisation within the sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team and manage a number of sites across the North-West region.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing & managing teams of Operators across several sites
  • Planning & managing the process to ensure maximum efficiency/output
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Managing contractors on site
  • Liaising with 3rd Party stakeholders
  • Drafting method statements & risk assessments
  • Maintaining important documentation
  • Hands-on involvement in the plant build to develop an understanding of how it works
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you should have relevant experience in an Operations Management position working within the Anaerobic Digestion sector or similar heavy-process environment. Ideally you will hold a relevant engineering Degree or equivalent qualifications & experience (HNC, HND, WAMITAB, or similar).

The package on offer for this position includes a negotiable basic salary up to £50,000, plus company benefits. This is a permanent position based in the Cumbria area. This will require travel between sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
