Offshore Generator Technicians

Contract Until February 2018

Lowestoft, Suffolk

Circa £300, Limited Company Day Rate

Our Client provides bespoke engineering solutions to support the development, construction and maintenance of wind, wave and tidal projects providing teams of engineers and specialists for a range of support services to the offshore renewable sector.

We are currently recruiting for Offshore Generator Technicians to work on a new build offshore wind farm project off the coast of Suffolk. The project will be fully operational in 2018 and there is the possibility of this role being extended until April 2018.

The Offshore Generator Technicians will be responsible for basic electrical testing, installation and fitting of generators onsite. Mechanical and Electrical experience is required for this role. This role will involve working 12-hour day shifts on a 3 week on, 3 week off rotational basis.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of working with electrical generators (Aggreko or similar)
  • Mechanical and Electrical experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Available for an immediate start and happy to work 12-hour shifts
